Cat Themed Games Day—An A-meow-zing time with indie cat games!

In my attempt to clear more backlog games, I’ve queued 4 wonder-fur-ly charming titles for this cat-themed indie games day which is sure to satisfy your craving for city-building, deckbuilding, puzzles, and dexterity typing respectively!

All Games: (Click on the game name to jump to it’s feature)
1. CitaDrill (Steam link)
2. My Card Is Better Than Your Card (Steam link)
3. Schrodinger’s Cat Burglar (Steam link)
4. Isekat: Crushed by a Computer, My Beloved Kitten is Transported to a Fantasy World where its Typing Skills Save the Kingdom! (Steam link)

1. CitaDrill (Steam link)

CitaDrill is a giant drill-city piercing into the planet! Little cat clones work hard to operate the system and keep things running while you call the shots as resources and upgrades unlock! The tutorial was very helpful and the dialogue with your tutorial cat are written humorously snarky. With so many things that could happen, CitaDrill offers endless replayability! Let’s get to the center of this planet!

2. My Card Is Better Than Your Card (Steam link)

There are so many things to love about My Card Is Better Than Your Card, from the adorable graphics to the fully customisable cards, but what really takes the cake is the gameplay! My Card Is Better Than Your Card offers many different playstyles and sticker variations to fully customise your experience. I found myself looking forward to every interaction and stage because there was so much to unlock! The mechanics are not difficult to grasp but definitely increase in depth the more you play. It’s hard to explain in a short paragraph like this, so give the demo a whirl to find out for yourself!

3. Schrodinger’s Cat Burglar (Steam link)

This delightful puzzle game is probably one of the most unique that I’ve come across in a while! It’s hard to say more without spoiling some key moments in the game, so I will just say that if you’ve enjoyed any form of co-op puzzlers before, you can try solving them in this game even as a solo player! There are many adorable customisation options and animations to the kitty you control. You can tell that the developers of Schrodinger’s Cat Burglar are true cat lovers who have poured their hearts into this release. If you like cats and puzzles, this is a must try for you. Thank you so much to developer AbandonedSheep for dropping by the stream! (And for getting me out of some areas that I got stuck at XD)

4. Isekat: Crushed by a Computer, My Beloved Kitten is Transported to a Fantasy World where its Typing Skills Save the Kingdom! (Steam link)

Type lots and type fast! Isekat is a comedic RPG where you take on the role of a little kitty that has been teleported to another world. This game had me so hooked that I ended up completing the main storyline in one sitting! A true testament to it’s addictive nature and gripping mechanics. The stages ramp up a lot, so keep your hand-eye coordination skills sharp as you venture through the levels! Or, take it slow and grind for the upgrades to make sure your attacks pack a bigger punch.

Thank you gamedevKarubin for sticking around for the full playthrough!
